  3. this movie is brilliant. gould is amazing and arkin is a great director.

  4. Brilliant writing, performed by a genius. Neither Sutherland nor Gould ever got the credit they deserve for their talents.

    Gould got mostly crap parts that you couldn’t do much with. Sutherland at least got decent roles, but mostly serious ones that didn’t give his wicked, evil comedic side a chance to shine.
