Fees for a small wedding ceremony at the San Antonio River walk Marriage Island?

My fiance and I are getting married in two and a half weeks, and we are considering either Marriage Island or parents backyard. We are under a budget of $1200. And this wedding is only for now, the religious ceremony will come later. Also if you have any other tips or information about Marriage Island let me know.

To get the up to date fees charged for Marriage Island the reservations and fees must be requested through the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department at 210-207-7275.
I read that the fee for half an hour is $200.00 but that amount might have changed. Call the number for the latest fees and information.

That seems to be a beautiful place for a small wedding and there are many hotels and fine restaurants nearby for a celebratory meal after the ceremony. Great idea!
